First impressions are everything in my opinion and after walking in the doors of this boutique hotel I had many. Here is my experience at The Schofield Hotel Cleveland.

The Schofield Hotel Cleveland – Boutique At Its Best

I could immediately see why U. S. News and World Report voted this hotel the best hotel in Cleveland for 2018!

I was greeted by staff who clearly loved their jobs. Their smiles and genuine concern for my experience were evident and I felt welcomed.

My room was ready and I was lead to a beautiful King Deluxe room with a city view.

The whole room was exceptional and very different than what I had expected. Unique and eclectic the room had some distinctive additions that make the Schofield different from most.

Each picture that lines the walls has a unique story to it. Guests are encouraged to ask the staff about them.

I loved the marquee that I was told was in each room. The staff often leaves a personal message for the guests. It’s such a cool way to connect with the guests!

The bathroom is what I loved the most. It was huge and it was double sided. The bathroom amenities went on and on and should you forget something, the staff is more than happy to bring it up to you…literally within seconds of asking!

Executive Chef Andrew Gorski brings his genius to Parker’s Downtown the exceptional restaurant found adjacent to the reception desk.

The menu is extraordinary. It includes Cleveland favorites with the chef’s own twists. I love their concept of field to plate and the importance the chef puts on locally sourced food.

If you’re a seafood lover, try the Shrimp and Grits. It’s made with chorizo, pepper conserva, 45-minute egg, and aged cheddar. It was amazing and something I’d recommend to anyone who loves seafood.

If seafood is not your thing, the menu is chocked full of something for everyone!

The hotel has so many fantastic amenities like it’s pet friendly option. Seriously, they will provide you with a pet bed for your fur baby!

If you’re a wine lover like me, definitely take advantage of their Hosted evening wine hour in the lobby living room, custom-designed PUBLIC bikes available to borrow for a ride around town, In-room spa services, and complimentary guitar rental for jam sessions in your very own room with their guitar loaner program just to name a few of your exclusive options.

Located perfectly within the city, the Schofield Hotel is near many wonderful city attractions. Don’t forget to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Cleveland History Center.

The hotel is certainly suited for a “staycation” where you don’t even need to leave the premises! It has everything you could possibly need and its staff is among the best I’ve ever experienced.

I highly recommend this boutique hotel, its intimacy, detail to customer satisfaction, and amenities are worth a visit!
