The 17th century Spanish fortress, Castillo de San Marcos has stunning views of the St. Augustine Inlet and draws thousands of visitors each year. St. Augustine’s state park, Anastasia, is a perfect place to take the family. It’s protected wildlife sanctuary is a great place to hike, bird watch, and picnic…maybe you’ll get the chance to see the giant sea turtle that calls the park home.

It’s the beaches that attract most visitors, myself included! The miles of pristine beaches are a wonderful place to spend a day worshiping the sun and beautiful waters are great for cooling off. Watch out for those rip tides!

There are a plethora of cafes, restaurants, bars, and shops to satisfy any taste, budget, or party hound. A visit to St. Augustine is a must and will never disappoint! Snapshot Monday ~ St. Augustine, Florida…just go!
