It didn’t take me long after crossing the Causeway to fall in love with New Orleans. I immediately felt connected to her culture and couldn’t wait to explore it further. Here’s my review of W New Orleans French Quarter – A New Orleans Oasis
W New Orleans French Quarter – A New Orleans Oasis
I’d been invited to stay at the W New Orleans French Quarter and upon pulling up to its welcoming reception area, I felt totally comfortable. The front desk staff instantly made me feel welcome and quickly and painlessly checked me in. They were extremely kind and full of information about the local attractions and eager to help me find my way around the gregarious city.
I was given an automatic upgrade (not a bad way to start off a stay!) and shown to my beautiful king sized room with a balcony overlooking the charming and inviting courtyard. It was chocked full of amenities like an indulgent Whatever/Whenever service and an authentic turn table with Jazz albums to enjoy!! Definitely earning the title – W New Orleans French Quarter – A New Orleans Oasis
The rooms are exquisite and designed for comfort. With 6 types of rooms and suites, the W New Orleans is the perfect home base for those who want to explore the French Quarter.
It’s also a perfect place to unwind and spend a leisurely day relaxing. SoBou is the onsite restaurant and, in addition to it’s fantastic bar that serves custom made cocktails, it serves unique and delicious adaptations of local dishes sure to please the most discerning of palettes. I enjoyed both breakfast and a delicious dinner in the exclusive dining room and bar.
Designed to inspire daydreams of the French Riviera, the spectacular outdoor pool is surrounded by lush greenery and an elaborate iron gate. Don’t worry about the time of year, the pool is heated for those who want to enjoy it during the cooler weather.
As I mentioned, the courtyard is stunning and a wonderful place to relax with a drink and some friends. Its immaculate landscaping makes you feel like royalty and its intimate setting makes guests feel like it’s their own personal space.
I highly recommend a stay with W New Orleans French Quarter. It’s a wonderful place to spend a romantic weekend, girl’s get-a-way, have a wedding, or a honeymoon. And yes, it’s even perfect for solo travelers like me!
I enjoyed every minute and will definitely be back! Thank you W New Orleans French Quarter – A New Orleans Oasis!
