Bali is one of the most popular destination in Indonesia. Ask anyone about Asia and they are likely to mention Bali. Travelers come from all around the globe to enjoy the long stretches of white sand beaches, beaches with strong waves for surfing, and black volcanic sand beaches. Many surfers around the world will tell you that the best beaches in Bali, Indonesia are those where surfers congregate. Enjoy this week’s installment of snapshot Monday ~ Bali, Indonesia.

Snapshot Monday ~ Bali, Indonesia

Known for it’s amazing retreats and honeymoon resorts, Bali has awesome food, people, culture, tropical climate, and beaches of Bali rank among the best of Southeast Asia. I love it so much I’ve been on several press trips to the popular destination and am scheduled for another next week!

With its volcanoes, lush mountains, iconic rice fields, coral reefs home to thousands of fishes and turtles, and endless white sand beaches, Bali, Indonesia is a destination worth visiting.

Shopping in Bali, Indonesia is plentiful. With all the shopping locations and styles, tourists have innumerable  amounts of merchandise to choose from.  Be prepared to haggle, it’s common and expected by vendors.

You can spend hours the local markets for hand-painted Batik and pursue the air conditioned malls that cater to shopaholics looking for cheap designer clothes and bags.

The opportunities are endless and if you’re not careful you’ll have to pay extra at airport check-in for all the bags you’ll bring home.

Famous for its rich culture, Bali has several note worthy and must see attractions. The cliff side Temple, Uluwatu is one of the attractions visitors like to see.

Tanah Lot a pilgrimage temple located just off the shores of Bali and one of the most beautiful and photographed attractions due to its cultural significance and location.

Water sports enthusiasts revel in the amazing surfing and scuba/snorkeling opportunities. Arguably the best place in the world for water sports, Bali, Indonesia attracts thousands of tourists looking to ride her amazing waves and experience coral reefs teaming with unique marine life.

Travel to this small island is simple and easy. With its own International Airport, flights are plentiful and offered at most major airlines.
