To all our vegetarian friends I offer you an upfront apology but…Mmmm…nothing’s better than a mouthwatering, juices running down your arm burger. There’s something about the smell of meat cooking on a grill that perks the taste buds up. SeriouslyTravel has put together a list of where to get the best burgers that could tempt even the pickiest of eaters. Here is my instalment of Gastronome Wednesday ~ Mouth Watering Burgers.

Au Cheval copy

Au Cheval

Au Cheval, located on Randolph Street in Chicago, Illinois, builds one of the best bergers around. The chef combines a wonderfully juicy beef patty with cheese, egg, and a crispy, thick piece of bacon. The burger is marvelously messy but fear not, the juices do not go to waste, the soft bun soaks up drippings, making the whole affair melt in your mouth. Go to the restaurant hungry because these burgers are huge and you won’t want to leave any on your plate!

Balls and Buns copy

Buns and Balls

Don’t let the name throw you off, this place serves amazing food. Buns and Balls calls Australia home and one of their specialties is the Char grilled beef burger. The chef prepares it using Wagyu beef cooked perfectly and paired with sweet bbq sauce, crispy pickles, and caramelized onions. If that isn’t the perfect burger all this juicy goodness is served on a deliciously soft brioche bun. The combination is mind blowing!

MEATmarket copy

MEATmarket

This trendy, hip burger joint caters to the younger crowd and one bite of their food proves why it’s always crowded. MEATmarket is located on Jubliee Market Hall Street in London and is worth their long queue. One of their specialties is the Dead Hippie burger. The messy concoction consists of two incredibly juicy beef patties, their very own dead hippie sauce (still not sure what it’s made of but sometimes you’re better off not knowing!), pickles, and chopped white onions, all sandwiched between a soft white bun. The size and price is perfect which stands to reason why the younger crowd patron the restaurant.

Honey Salt copy

Honey Salt

This restaurant calls the Sin City home. Located on South Rampart Boulevard in Las Vegas the pure site of the Honey Salt’s Backyard Favorite burger gets your mouth watering. The perfectly built burger consists of Wagyu beef, beehive cheedar, bacon jam, and a fresh fried egg. All this deliciousness is perched between a pillow soft bun and is toped with old bay potato chips. It’s the perfect meal after a night out doing whatever they do in Sin City!

These are some of our picks for some of the world’s best burger joints. Have you been to any of these? What are your favorite places to get a good burger? Let us know what you think.
