Yes, most people who come to Orlando come for the innumerable amusement parks. Families flock here during summer vacation and spring breakers visit to get away from their parents’ prying eyes! Were to stay can be quite a decision, especially when budget comes into play. However, staying at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa meets every need, both budget and comfort.
Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa
Budget hotels don’t offer the amenities that higher priced hotel and resorts do but staying at one of those dips into the budget and limits the amount of fun activities visitors can participate in.
Suites
The one, two, three, and four bedroom suites are perfect for any size family or group. I stayed in a one-bedroom suite and, honestly, I’d have to call it more of a condominium then a suite. With a full kitchen, (including full size appliances and granite counter tops) luxurious bathroom, and expansive living area I could actually see myself living comfortably there.
Dining
The resort offers Lani’s Luau, an onsite restaurant that serves continental breakfast, fresh burgers, sandwiches, nachos, and wings for lunch and dinner. If you’re in the mood for a drink and a snack they serve great daiquiris and ice cream.
For those who want to watch a game and enjoy a good meal Frankie Farrell’s Irish Pub & Grille is a perfect choice. Serving traditional Irish cuisine like Bangers and Mash or Fish & Chips, the restaurant is a great place to unwind after a day at the parks.
If you’d rather eat in, a convenience store that stocks almost everything and Pizza Hut is located an elevator ride and walk from your suite door.
Amenities
Some of the great amenities offered at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa are unique and offered at no other accommodation. The pirate themed plunge pool is great for the kids and kids at heart. The water slide, water cannons, and hot tubs will have every member of the family entertained for hours.
There’s also a quite relaxation pool where guests can enjoy a good book, drink, and down time away from the action of the pirate pool. It’s perfect for parents to spend a bit of calm after a long day with the kiddies.
Reflections Spa & Salon is a must visit when staying. I had an hour massage that was totally relaxing and expertly executed by a wonderful staff masseur. The spa offers a full spa menu at extremely reasonable prices.
The staySky Kids Club is a wonderful scheduled program for kids. From face painting to poolside games, the littlest guests will be sure to enjoy their stay. While I was there I saw one of the expert staff walking around with a baby gator! It was so interesting…no worries; his mouth was safely and humanely tapped so no fingers go missing!
Location
The resort location is perfect in my opinion. Close enough to Orlando’s main attractions and with daily shuttle service to most, yet far enough away that guests don’t feel like they can’t relax, the resort is truly a win-win for all spend their holiday there.
I highly recommend staying at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa. I enjoyed my time there and plan on visiting again soon.
